Fair use rationale for Image:Stadion lecha poznan10.jpg
[edit]Image:Stadion lecha poznan10.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Name
[edit]The name of the stadium should be changed in Poznań City Stadium, like it is in Kielce City Stadium or Białystok City Stadium. Isn´t that right? --Berlinschneid (talk) 13:46, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
UEFA Stadia criteria
[edit]This stadium is not UEFA five star stadium as it is shown in the article. Due to its capacity four stars are max. for this stadium (if all the other criteria are in order).Ratipok (talk) 02:50, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Stadion Miejski (Poznań) → City Stadium (Poznań) – Seems more helpful to the English-speaking reader to translate this title, as is done on the BBC website here. Kotniski (talk) 11:54, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
- Comment. I have mixed feelings on this one. When places have such descriptive names, is this when they should be translated? For this, I'll abstain. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 23:54, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Stadion Miejski (Poznań) → Bulgarian Street Stadium – Per WP:COMMONNAME. Firstly, Stadion Miejski just means Municipal Stadium, it is not a name per say, so if this move is opposed the official name should be Municipal Stadium (Poznań). Regardless of this the most freqently used name is the one proposed, obviously translated into English as this enwiki. - Oppose - I note that some sources call it 'INEA stadium' (such as Soccerway), but that is sponsored name and we don't use a sponsored name. So what do the other sources call it? This source mentions INEA, and also "Stadion przy Bułgarskiej (potoczna)", which translates as 'Bulgarian Street Stadium (colloquial)' as the name, but refers to it mainly as simply 'Stadion Poznań'. As such I suggest that it is moved to Poznań Stadium. GiantSnowman 16:35, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- INEA no longer sponsors the stadium anyway, and shouldn't we be using the common name? Poznań Stadium is definitely not it because there are lots of "Poznań Stadium"s, such as Edmund Szyc Stadium, Harcerska Street Stadium, the two Olimpia Stadiums, Dębińska Road Stadium etc. Also stadiony.net is not a WP:RS. Also calling it the Poznan Stadium is like calling Anfield the Liverpool Stadium. Abcmaxx (talk) 22:08, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- Move to Municipal Stadium (Poznań).--Darwinek (talk) 23:33, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. I see no good reason to move. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:21, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
