Yuva Bharati Krirangan → Salt Lake Stadium – Per WP:COMMONNAME. Salt Lake Stadium is what India calls it. Rather, Yuva Bharati Krirangan is the unfamiliar name. Avenue X at Cicero (talk) 13:43, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Hatnote
[edit]I was a little surprised to see this edit, changing the wording of my hatnote. Then I realized the IP may have misunderstood, as though I were saying the Real Salt Lake stadium was the real "Salt Lake Stadium." That's not the meaning, of course. But if anyone else finds it confusing, perhaps we can discuss an alternative here. I reverted the edit because the wording seemed awkward. --BDD (talk) 22:21, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
List of matches
[edit]I looked at the good articles of the stadiums and none of them list "important matches" like it's done on the page. Should they be kept, especially in list form? Would like to know thoughts of more editors. Coderzombie (talk) 06:07, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
- Delete Not comprehensive and of no relevance. Significant matches can be added as a part of the history section. Ramit.mukherjee.1994 (talk) 21:00, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

- Not done This is not actionable, you must clearly specify the exact change that you want to make so that someone could make it for you while the page is protected. — xaosflux Talk 04:41, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

Regarding the capacity edits
[edit]There is a logical chain of sources indicating capacity reduction from 2013–14 renovations up to 2020. And since at least 2017, the capacity had already been reduced below 85k even ignoring the limited "net" capacity used for the U17 championship. As such, if you wish to correct the capacity with a higher number than the one AIFF signed up on in 2020, please feel free to do so but include a source about additional seats being installed, stadium being enlarged, renovated, etc... Currently, there aren't any sources dating 2021 onwards to that tune in the article. Respublik (talk) 16:04, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
- I already showed numerous articles which have sources too proving against this claim...change them with your link if so sure, but only this article cant be left with different numbers 93.143.252.66 (talk) 19:49, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

- FIFA has used the official name of the stadium, and this proposal is about the WP:COMMONNAME of the stadium. Didn't you see the Ngram result? And as far as I know, common names have more weightage against official names, i.e. Mahatma Gandhi is not Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 🗿 15:59, 26 December 2023 (UTC)
