Some upcoming edits

[edit]

Hello all, I am currently a student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and I am working on this page as a class project. These are my suggestions for future editing in the next few weeks, please let me know if there is anything I should change, add, or discard. Thanks! -Samantha

Additions to lead paragraph: -Add the percentage of enlisted and officers female Marines (and signify they have the lowest percentage of women out of all the US military branches) -Add a quick sentence or two on what female Marines did in the past (clerical, reserve, etc) and how they eventually gained equality to be on the front lines in the infantry Additions to Opha Mae Johnson: Minor edit-- add the specific date that she enlisted Additional subheadings: Possibly create a new subheading for Marines in 2000's (since the last paragraph expands over the past 50 years) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Samanthaayn (talkcontribs) 01:50, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
