Why is the image so huge?

[edit]

Why is the flag image on this project banner so much bigger than the images on other state project banners (such as {{WikiProject Wisconsin}}, {{WikiProject Texas}} or {{WikiProject Missouri}}, for example, which use 50px for the width)? Many other projects also limit their image size to 50px. The image on this banner is so big that it overpowers the text and other banners displayed on a talk page. Kudos to the project. The new version looks much better. Thanks! Slambo (Speak) 17:41, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List class

[edit]

I was able to successfully add the list category to the Pennsylvania classes of articles. I tried to add featured list and couldn't. Does anybody know how to do this? Dincher 20:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

C-Class

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Could an administrator please add C-Class to this template? Thanks. --Millbrooky (talk) 18:47, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New version of template

[edit]

I've got an updated template at Template:WikiProject Pennsylvania/sandbox which uses WPBannerMeta. Any objections to using it? -- WOSlinker (talk) 12:04, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{editprotected}} Could the Template:WikiProject Pennsylvania/sandbox version be copied over to Template:WikiProject Pennsylvania. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 18:42, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Seems that the collaboration and selected options are not being used. Any objection to removing those? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image changes

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Could the code from the template sandbox be copied to here? I changed the image used to a vector image and replaced the generic portal link image. Niagara Don't give up the ship 03:45, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

 Done — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:18, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No offense but the new template photo does not look good when you look at just the banner. What was wrong with the one before? Can someone just make the old image a vector image?--CPacker talk to me 18:20, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've reverted for now. I assumed Niagara had discussed this change with the project before making the request. Please continue to discuss and let me know if you reach an agreement. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:36, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Request to add Redirect Class

[edit]

Is there a way to add redirect class to the list of classes? It would much help with categorizing pages. I would give a more specific suggestion as to how to do it but I don't understand this template particularly well. TartarTorte 21:08, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TartarTorte: There are three edits required: (i) create Template:WikiProject Pennsylvania/class  Done; (ii) create Category:Redirect-Class Pennsylvania articles  Done; (iii) make this edit to Template:WikiProject Pennsylvania -  Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit template-protected}} template.. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 16:04, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adding redirect class to template

[edit]

Would it make sense to add redirect class to the template? I added an edit request for it above, but as noted, it makes sense to try to gain consensus on the talk page first. There are a lot of pages marked with NA on the Quality scale that are redirects. While NA could make sense as a de facto category for redirects it makes it a bit more hard to parse the articles in my opinion and with the redirect class we could make it so the articles do not need to be rated for importance as they're redirects. TartarTorte 22:05, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like a good idea to me. When I've reviewed articles to assess quality, I remember encountering those as well. Penndyl (talk) 17:37, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
