Addition Please

Please add "aoc" to the list.

aoc = Age of Conan Wiki

On that note, is the text ", an external wiki" needed? As it looks a bit weird when using the {{wikia}} template on articles. Can it be something like

<wiki name> a Wikia Wiki. ?

I second the notion that having ", an external wiki" on unlisted entries but not on listed ones is rather jarring, especially where it breaks parallelism (e.g. a link for Memory Beta (i.e. wikia|startrek) does not get the external wiki tag but Memory Gamma does). This page being locked vs. the instructions in Template:Wikia

While the desire to avoid vandalism of a highly visible template is understandable, it's also rather inappropriate for Template:Wikia to instruct us to add missing Wikia site names to this list yet for this list to be locked from editing. Perhaps what is really needed is some mechanism by which users can submit a new entry to the list (without having to wait for an administrator to come along to apply it) but not edit existing entries. Plenty of missing wikis

So, Wikia has a list by what's called WAM score (here). It's a long list, but maybe the top 100-500 could be added. If this is a little too much, I would suggest making wikis without a title on this list say "The (wikiname) Wiki" instead of "(wikiname), an external Wiki".
