I come from Manchester and mostly edit football articles, having been on here for about a year now. I had a fairly long wikibreak not long ago and realised I'd been spending a bit too much of my spare time on here (and I can't be the only one) so I'm trying to cut down on the amount of time I'm on here. If you leave me a message and it takes a bit longer than you're expecting to get a reply that'll probably be why. I've been an admin since February '06 and will probably get involved in a bit more admin/cleanup stuff over the next month or two.

I was a Manchester United supporter from 1981-2005, going to most matches home and away (including a few outside England) but decided to stop going when Malcolm Glazer took over. I still want United to win when they play, but I now spend my Saturdays watching FC United in the North West Counties League and enjoy it a lot more. I just hope that the 'new' fans who've ruined English football over the last ten years or so don't catch on – you've no idea how much better it is without you :-Þ

I'm strongly opposed to MK Dons and Red Bull's treatment of SV Austria Salzburg – I haven't bought any Red Bull since I heard about it and would urge other football fans not to do so either. If you're an MK Dons fan who didn't go to MK City matches or a Salzburg fan who supported the takeover, I'd really appreciate a message on my talk page saying why, not so I can have a go at you but because I don't understand your point of view at all and would like to hear your opinions.
