William Allen Simpson has been involved in design, implementation, and operation of Internet routing, network security, network protocols, wireless networking, game networking, real-time data collection and distribution, and many other projects for over 40 years.
He has volunteered with numerous political campaigns, including as campaign manager, chaired a political action committee, and served on various non-profit boards.
He was also an accomplished musician and avid social dancer.
He was diagnosed with Stage IVb Mantle Cell Lymphoma.
