Feeling ready to run? ;) --Dylan620 (contribs, logs, review) 12:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
- No, too busy at Simple English Wikiquote and Simple English Wikipedia. At the earliest, I'll run early next year. I feel I've got too poor an editcount or activity in requisite areas for being an admin. Thanks for the offer though. Cheers, Pmlineditor ∞ 12:37, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

Middle-earth character infoboxes
Hi there. You're signed up as a member of Wikiproject Middle-earth. There's a discussion on character infoboxes going on here. It's heading towards a fairly inconclusive 'no change' at present. If you're interested please express your views (for or against the proposal, or an alternative) at the WP:M-E talkpage. Cheers. 4u1e (talk) 20:44, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

PJ Main Page questionHello Pmlinediter. Do you know what "(H)" means in the character table in the main article? I'm cleaning it up but would not like to modify it without your input. I assume it means "hunter", in which case I'll just remove them because that's really trivial information:). Thanks, Airplaneman talk 21:27, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

PJTF Welcome TemplateHello, Pmlinediter. There is now a template to be used for welcoming potential PJTF members! It is {{PJwel}}. When put as {{subst:PJwel}} on a user's talk page, it turns out as:
PJTF Stub TemplateWe now have our very won stub template! It's {{PJ-stub}}, which you can put on any PJ-related stub (there aren't any at the moment). Any input is welcome at the template's talk page. Regards, Airplaneman talk 00:13, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
It is as you predicted. Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion/Log/2009/October/19. Oh well:). Airplaneman talk 23:21, 19 October 2009 (UTC) The Wikipedia Signpost: 19 October 2009

MARHEDGE deletionI'm not sure if it's notable enough either, but it is relevant to the Bernard Madoff investment fraud. It seems to be one of only two publications to hint at skepticism of Madoff's operation before his exposure. I'd like it if we retained the article for a few weeks to see if it eventually passes notability, with the help of contributers who know more than I do. DYK - Beinn SgritheallThanks for your comment here - I've responded as I was slightly confused by your wording. A response on that page would be appreciated if you have a moment. Nick Ottery (talk) 08:56, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
External links for UK TownsHi, Thanks for the info re adding external links, I do have a number of uk town websites which have community info about the towns and yes I know they have nofollow stuff but thought they would be good for each town to be listed? Also I am adding the wiki listing for each town so my user can get wiki info, I was only adding them to the list of other sites relevant to the town. I thought that would be okay, and apologies if that's not the case. I value your advice. Thanks, James Small james@uktownsontheweb.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jamesasmall (talk • contribs) 16:30, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
re External links for UK TownsHiya, I've read the restrictions and should have read them first, sorry....I again wrongly assumed that new listing should be put at the top and would then be moved down! Would it be okay for me to have a proper go, tomorrow? Thanks, James james@uktownsontheweb.com Jamesasmall (talk) 19:06, 2 November 2009 (UTC) The Wikipedia Signpost: 2 November 2009

Adding listingsHiya & Good morning, I would like to follow the correct procedure and add my town information websites as external links bottom of the list rather than top! plus I want to add the wikipedia town listing to the community section of these websites...would that be okay? example of Barking is here http://www.barkingontheweb.com/community/Barking+From+Wikipedia%2C+the+free+encyclopedia/ Please advise, if this would be acceptable. I believe it would enhance your users information about the towns. Thanks, James Jamesasmall (talk) 10:21, 3 November 2009 (UTC) |
