Hello, Shubjt. The answer is "no", in my opinion. That language, specifically using the word "us" that you quoted indicates that Reddit itself retains those rights. It does not indicate that Shubjt or Cullen328 or any other editor on a Wikimedia Foundation hosted website has that right. We are not included in Reddit's use of the word "us". Thanks I got it :) I didn't read the statement carefully enough. Shubjt 03:06, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Diffraction video addition

[edit]

Hi @Shubjt! You recently added a link to a video into the Diffraction page. I wonder if you could add any additional information about the relationship between the video and the topic. For examples, roughtly what the video shows, the geometry of the setup (reflection?) The material of the grating? Where more can be learned about that grating? The wavelength of the laser and the period of the grating. I'm sure all of these things are clear to you but of course the point of wikipedia is to aid those who don't know such things. @Johnjbarton The video shows a typical diffraction pattern from a grating. This is the only video I could find with a cc license that I could upload to commons. But there was no information like lines/mm or wavelength of laser in the video description :( Shubjt 09:13, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
