Your tool won't let me log in for some reason. I've registered about 15 times now, but it still tells me I don't exist. - Milks Favorite Cookie 21:26, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

...and it still tells me that I need to be approved. WODUP 21:32, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
I have actually stopped maintenance on it, SQL is working on a rewrite. It should be ready soon, we'll follow whatever SQL comes up with. Soxred93 | talk bot 22:02, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, April Fool's is over. But I'll leave the section up, for good measure. Soxred93 | talk bot 02:11, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Awarding Barnstar

The Barnstar of Good Humor
Aprils fools day was a blast. Loads of users lightened up to have good old fashion fun. I want to thank you for taking part in editing this page in particular and even though I may not know you, embrace the same talk pages, or even edit with you in the near future, I'd like to award you this Barnstar for making Wikipedia a fun environment in which to contribute. Until next year. :) SynergeticMaggot (talk) 13:36, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

Signpost's Features and admins

I noticed that you want to try writing Features and admins for Signpost. Since I'm not able to write it due to exams, could you cover that section for me next week? After next week, I'll be back. Let me know asap (by replying to my talk page, I don't watchlist user talk pages). Even if you cannot do it, please also let me know so that I can find someone else to do it. OhanaUnitedTalk page 18:40, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

OK, thanks. OhanaUnitedTalk page 22:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Oh, another thing. Do you know how to do a database query of all Wikispecies page with __NOTOC__?[1] OhanaUnitedTalk page 22:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
With a little help, I might. But probably no. Soxred93 | talk bot 22:24, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Deletion process

Your bot performed a template subst at Wikipedia:Deletion process. However, this page is supposed to have the templates unsubst'd so they always show the current template. Please have your bot skip this page in the future. Thanks. -- JLaTondre (talk) 01:45, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Your bot has made this mistake twice now. Please stop it. Rossami (talk) 03:57, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
That's four times now. I'm hitting the shutoff button on your bot until you have a chance to fix it. Rossami (talk) 05:16, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

In addition to that page, your bot also incorrectly subst'd templates on Wikipedia:Template messages/Moving & Wikipedia:Spam. There are quite a few other pages in the Wikipedia namespace where templates shouldn't be subst. You either need to limit your subst to certain areas (example Xfd debates) or generate an exclusion list containing pages with template examples prior to re-running. -- JLaTondre (talk) 11:21, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok, sorry for the delay. It was the middle on the night, my time. I'll work on it soon. Either way, I have stopped the bot. Soxred93 | talk bot 12:06, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Signpost updated for April 7th and 14th, 2008.

Sorry, it seems that the bot quit before completing its run last week. Here is the last two weeks' worth of Signpost. Ralbot (talk) 09:14, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Why did you put:

It was a lighthearted joke, saying that I've been helping there for a while. Soxred93 | talk bot 19:09, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Um...

Just wondering what your bot thinks it's doing editing this page to say I'm online when I'm in fact asleep [2], especially when I can't see that it's supposed to be doing that? I'm asking because I was somewhat surprised to find that I was "online" when I hadn't told StatusBot I was here yet - now I'm going to have to make it do a double-edit when I log into IRC. Thanks. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

...That's...odd...I'll have to ask Cobi about it (he wrote the framework), see if it's a wikibot classes problem or if it's my code's problem. Soxred93 | talk bot 20:57, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Help

Hey. I added the category for Wikipediand who use status bot to my user page but I can't find my name in the category tree. Would you mind looking at my page when you have some free time and see if you think I did anything wrong. Thanks for getting a verison of StatusBot up! §hep¡Talk to me! 02:01, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Script help

Hi, I've noticed how your bot basically works, as in, it somehow monitors whether the user is active or not based on edit times and idle times. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to adapt this script to make a change to more then just one page, meaning, currently, it changes the text on a specific page from offline to online and vise versa where appropriate. I was wondering if you would be able to alter the code to do basically(meaning the text changes would be different) the same thing to other pages.

In short, I want to make a few things for myself automated.— dαlusT@lk / Improve 17:38, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Your signature

Signatures may not have templates in them. I would expect someone who has been around for a while to know this. Please clean up any mess you've made. Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 05:07, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh my! I forgot the <includeonly>subst:</includeonly>! Oh deary me! I'll fix that right away. But is it necessary to fix all the places I've signed? It hasn't been a lot, as I just recently changed it. Soxred93 (u t c m l ) 05:10, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Um, just remove the template, if you subst it it will just turn into a huge mess about 5 times the max signature length. Mr.Z-man 05:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
Fixed. Soxred93 (u t) 05:16, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
