Pianello Val Tidone (Piacentino: Pianél) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Piacenza.

Pianello Val Tidone borders the following municipalities: Agazzano, Alta Val Tidone, Borgonovo Val Tidone, Piozzano.

  • Municipal Castle (Rocca)
  • Rocca d'Olgisio, a castle originally built on a spur outside the town in the 9th century and used by the Dal verme family of lords and condottieri.
