Varzeqan (Persian: ورزقان)[a] is a village in Barvanan-e Markazi Rural District of the Central District of Torkamanchay County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,180 in 254 households, when it was in the former Torkamanchay District of Mianeh County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 953 people in 268 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,015 people in 352 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Torkamanchay County, and the rural district was transferred to the new Central District.[6]
