Natural History: Glaucus atlanticus, commonly known as the blue sea slug, is a striking marine gastropod found in the open ocean. Its vivid blue coloration serves as both camouflage and a warning signal, while its unique feeding behavior involves consuming venomous prey such as Portuguese man-of-war Physalia, contributing to its ecological significance in ocean ecosystems.
