The International Dunhuang Project group at the British Library are hosting a workshop at the University of Nottingham on Friday 8th March 2013; as with the first workshop, it will be focused on the broad theme of Central Asian history and archaeology; this time, it will include student groups from Nottingham and Birmingham. The session is led by Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing). It will be hosted in the GIS Graduate Computer Laboratory in the Clive Granger Building, from 11am-5pm. An overview of existing online Silk Road resources available through IDP and other sites will be followed by a short introduction to Wikipedia, its community and its background. These will take place at 11am, 1pm, 3pm depending on demand. They will be followed by a hands-on session to give experience using the site and working with other editors.
