The title "Geslacht!"
[edit]I've been editing the Raven van Dorst article. Is the TV program title Geslacht! a play on words in Dutch? In addition to the literal meaning of "sex" (as in biological sex) it possibly also suggests something like "slaughtered" (afgeslacht, geslachte). However, since I don't know Dutch at all, is this just a misunderstanding on my part? — The Anome (talk) 13:39, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Indeed, the word has both meanings in Dutch. But I cannot find in Dutch articles that the program title is meant as a play on words; I think the meaning in this context will be 'gender'. Erik Wannee (talk) 20:18, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

Photo request - Drenthe
[edit]Is there anyone able to obtain photographs of the remains of windmills at Annen, Bonnen, Emmen, Erm, Havelte, Nieuw-Buinen, Nieuw-Weerdinge and Ruinerwolde so that they can be used to improve the list of windmills in Drenthe.
