From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Original - An L-410 Turboleta in flight, at the Góraszka International Airshow in Poland. Manufactured by Czech company Let Kunovice, the successful L-410 model was designed in the 1960s. Of the 1,138 planes built, this aircraft is one of approximately 500 L-410 Turboletas still in use.
Edit 1 Colour adjustments and cloned out hand
Edit 2 - Fixed halo by redoing adjustments with curves. It changes the appearance of the sky a bit, but I think this is more realistic, anyway.
Christmas turkey edit
Reason
Clearly and attractively shows the subject in flight. Good quality. As a bonus, we have very few featured civilian aircraft photographs.

  • @Shoemaker: I didn't mean to advocate the removal of the hand. It just looked like a neat challenge. @Makeemlighter/Shoemaker/other closer: As far as I'm concerned, you can just promote edit 2, which seems promotable based on the current !votes.
