120 Bahadur (transl. 120 Bravehearts) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language war film directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios. The film recounts the legendary Battle of Rezang La fought on 18th of November 1962 during the 1962 India China War when 120 soldiers led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati from Charlie Company of 13 Kumaun Regiment fought valiantly against a 3000 strong Chinese Army contingent that attacked their post, killing over 1300 of them.
In the film Farhan Akhtar portrays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who was posthumously conferred the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery and valiant act. The film marks return to acting for Farhan Aktar after 3 years. [2] [3] [4][5] The film is scheduled to release on 1 October 2025.[6]
Plot
[edit]The film chronicles the actions taken on the fateful day of 18th of November 1962 during the 1962 India China War by 120 soldiers led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati from Charlie Company of 13 Kumaun Regiment. They fought valiantly against a 3000 strong Chinese Army contingent that attacked their post, killing over 1300 of them.[7]
