The 29th Saturn Awards , honoring the best in science fiction, fantasy and horror film and television in 2002 , were held on May 18, 2003, at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles , California .[1] This ceremony revived the Best Animated Film category, which had been last given out at the 10th Saturn Awards in 1983. The nominees were announced on March 6, 2003.[2]
