Life
[edit]Alex Warren was born in Carlsbad, California.[9] He grew up skateboarding and would first share his content to Instagram as early as May 2015. In 2020, Warren became the host of the reality show AwesomenessTV's Next Influencer for YouTube.[10]
In April 2021, Netflix announced the start of work on an unscripted series about a Hype House, and Warren became one of the stars of the show.[11][12]
Warren released his debut original song "One More I Love You" in June 2021.[13] He signed with Atlantic Records in August 2022 and created the Locked in with Alex Warren podcast.[14][15]
Music career
[edit]Early life
[edit]Warren's love for music was fostered at a young age. His dad bought him a Fender guitar and introduced him to Coldplay, Linkin Park, and Train, among others.
2021–2023: Career beginnings
[edit]Warren released his first single "One More I Love You" about his traumatic childhood experience in 2021.[16] Since then, Warren independently released two more singles, "Screaming Underwater"[17] and "Remember Me Happy".[18]
In 2022 Warren signed a record deal with Atlantic Records.[19] The label debut single, "Headlights", garnered 74M views on TikTok prior to release.[20][21][22] Following his debut, Warren released "Chasing Shadows",[23] "Give You Love",[24][25] "Change Your Mind",[26] "How Could You (Be Ok)"[27] and "Yard Sale".[28]
2024: Commercial success
[edit]In February 2024, Warren released "Before You Leave Me".[29] This was followed by "Save You a Seat" in April 2024[30] and "Carry You Home" on May 31, 2024.[31]
Personal life
[edit]Warren has siblings named Lauren, Ashley, and Grant.[32] His dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer twice and died from kidney cancer after Warren turned nine.[33] His mother was an alcoholic, and as a result Warren had to leave home when he was a teenager.[34] He was homeless and sleeping in his friends' car for a while.[35][36]
Warren began a relationship with Instagrammer Kouvr Annon in 2018.[37][38] The couple got engaged in December 2022.[39] They are now married as of June 22, 2024.
