Emmanuel Kwadwo Oware (born 21 July 1986), better known by his stage name Ayisi (formerly A.I) is a Ghanaian musician.[1]

Life and music career

Ayisi pronounced 'ayisi' is a Ghanaian music artiste born in Accra, capital of Ghana. Music begun at an early age through his father who was a drummer in a band and had a vast collection of music, aiding and introducing Ayisi to a broader knowledge on different genre of music. He started recording in High school at Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School in 2004. His writing prowess helped polish his lyrical dexterity. Ayisi's inspiration is drawn from legends like Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Eminem, Bob Marley, Youssou Ndour, just to mention a few. He has shared a lot of stages with Ghanaian internationally recognized artists such as Sarkodie , Wanlov Kubolor, Mensah etc.[2][3]
