Camille Rutherford is a French film actress. She was nominated for the César Award for Best Female Revelation in 2021.

Career

She studied drama at the Conservatoire de Paris. Her first lead role in director Nicolas Klotz 2011 film Low Life.[1] She had the lead role of Mary, Queen of Scots in the 2013 film Mary Queen of Scots.[2] She also appeared in Blue is the Warmest Colour in 2013.[3] In 2016, she had a role in Jacqueline Argentine.[4]

She appeared in Éric Lartigau film Iamhere.[5] She was nominated for 2021’s César Award for Best Female Revelation for her role in Felicità.[6] That year she could be seen in Bertrand Mandico film After Blue.[7]

She was in the 2023 Michel Gondry directed film The Book of Solutions.[8] She appeared as journalist Zoe Solidor in the film Anatomy of a Fall.[9]

In 2024, she can be seen in Jane Austen Wrecked My Life.[10][11] In May 2024, she was cast in The Splendour of Life, directed by Marianne Metivier.[12] She portrays Mathilde, the sister of Artemis in The Three Musketeers: Milady.[13]

Born and raised in Paris, France she has an English father and French mother.[14][1]
