Additional precise sub-categries for growing number of Orthodox rabbis

[edit]
All discussion about the following is at: Category talk:Orthodox rabbis#More precise system based on recognized names.

There are now more precise categories.

Thus under Category:Orthodox rabbis there is now some new sub-categories using KNOWN and accepted non-controversial academic and ecyclopedic nomenclature. (If anyone would like to indicate that a rabbi is presently ALIVE then just put in the Category:Living people and automatically the reader knows that the rabbi is with us!):

  • If there is any doubt, or if a rabbi cannot be clearly placed into one of the above, he should remain in Category:Orthodox rabbis.

The above should go a long way towards sorting out the ever-growing list of Orthodox rabbis of all shades and parties etc. IZAK 09:29, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
