The current title 'Anglo-Norman invasion' is a misnomer, and is also contrary to the name of the wikipedia article, which is more accurately titled as Norman Invasion of Ireland. Wikipedia probably has a policy on this. If there is to be any qualification of Norman, it would be Cambro-Norman as most of the invaders and leaders- including Strongbow- came from Wales. 213.202.160.117 01:40, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree entirely. And I see the title issue was discussed in Norman Ireland some years back. How does one go about changing the category to Norman Invasion of Ireland or Cambro-Norman Invasion of Ireland to reflect the nature of the invaders? I'm not even sure if the term "Anglo-Norman" existed in 1169, but most invaders were certainly not of English descent. Captain Fearnought (talk) 08:18, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
