Quintessential essential Sanskrit singers like Kuldeep M pai , Madhvi Madhukar , Uma Mohan , Name must be here . They are stotra singers . They sing only Sanskrit . Very popular on internet . @Namanvanshthakur: Have you read your talk page? Specifically, have you read User talk:Namanvanshthakur#Categories? The only way those are included in any category is if we have a Wikipedia article for them, because that is how categorization works. The category is added to the article.
Regarding if there are any currently included that shouldn't be, the category's scope is not clearly defined. Maybe the person who created the category intended it to include any singer who has sung in Sanskrit. I don't know. --DB1729talk 19:59, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. Yes i have read. Now category i can add only when the singers have an article and it's categorised as Sanskrit. Now Uma mohan ,kuldeep m pai have an Wikipedia page and they are quintessential Sanskrit singers . They are categorised as Sanskrit , but still am not able to ass their names Namanvanshthakur (talk) 20:54, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

These singers have Wikipedia page. Do I have to categorise the page or article as Sanskrit singers , if yes then how . Am not able to aww option. Second the name list which i want to add are real or 100 percent Sanskrit singers . Please help Namanvanshthakur (talk) 21:09, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Open the edit window of the article Kuldeep Pai. scroll down to very bottom of the page. There you will see a group of category links that look like this:

These are, as I write this, the current categories for the article. Add directly below Living people category link.
And that's it. You can go back to Category:Sanskrit-language singers and check to see if it worked. Kuldeep Pai should then appear under P.

I don't see an article for Uma Mohan – redlinked. DB1729talk 23:04, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou it's done । Can you help me with Uma mohan and madhvi Madhukar Namanvanshthakur (talk) 20:33, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Namanvanshthakur: You're welcome, and well done! Now you know how to categorize:-) It would work the same way for the others, except I don't see Wikipedia articles for either of those singers. You can't add the category if there is no article to add it to. If you click on the link Uma Mohan, it seems the article has been created four times and it has been deleted every time for various reasons. Here's a link to one of those deletion discussions — Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Uma Mohan. There is nothing at all for Madhvi Madhukar, in other words, we've never had an article by that title. DB1729talk 22:06, 17 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks from the core .uma Mohan Wikipedia exist , but it's not in English .Madhvi Madhukar Wikipedia doesn't exist and trust me she is social media sensation in Sanskrit and probably the hardcore Sanskrit singer and the best . Well am motivated to make a page , if you can support ).

@Namanvanshthakur: A good place to start is to read closely Help:Your first article. If you intend translate an article from another language wiki, then also check out Wikipedia:Translation.
It's my understanding that new editors don't have a very high success rate when creating their first article. Not saying you shouldn't try, but expect there to be a learning curve. Article creation can be very challenging. I recommend editing existing articles you're interested in for a little while longer, before you try creating an article. Practice adding content and citing sources. Adding refs (see Wikipedia:Citing sources) are very important if you intend create an article, because in your article, you will need reliable sources that demonstrate notability, if you want a good chance of it not being rejected.
I have never created an article myself and I'm also not familiar with the subject, so I wouldn't be of much help other than what I said in this post. You can ask questions at the Wikipedia:Teahouse if you run into problems or get stuck. Hope I've been of some help. DB1729talk 20:22, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
