He has created many popular songs for well-known artists from the former Yugoslavia, such as Ceca, Saša Matić, Severina Vučković, Dragana Mirković, Nataša Bekvalac, Ana Nikolić, Maya Berović, and Milan Stanković. Handanović also works as a music editor at RTV Pink. He is the son of the famous folk singer and composer Hašim "Paško" Handanović. Handanović is a major figure in the Balkan music scene, known for his contributions as both a composer and producer. He believes that a work should stand out for its own quality rather than following external trends or pressures.

His success largely comes from his collaborations with famous regional artists, like Ceca Ražnatović. Handanović highlights the importance of smooth cooperation with top talent, recognizing their professionalism and knowledge of the industry as essential for achieving success. In addition to writing songs, Handanović also helps shape the careers of artists, often playing a key role in their artistic development.

Handanović is also involved in cultural events in Belgrade, organizing music festivals that aim to promote the city’s cultural identity and attract both tourists and locals.

Musically, his work blends traditional Balkan influences with modern pop and electronic styles. His songs are known for their catchy melodies and memorable choruses, appealing to a wide audience. Lyrically, his songs often deal with themes of love, everyday life, and personal experiences, making them relatable to many listeners.

He uses the latest technology in music production to ensure his songs meet international standards, balancing artistic quality with commercial success.

In summary, Damir Handanović is an influential figure in Balkan music, known for his ability to mix genres, collaborate with high-profile artists, and create music that resonates both regionally and globally. His work has left a lasting impact on the music scene.

Damir Handanović owns the music production company DH Music.[1][2]
