The A8 motorway (Serbian: Аутопут А8, romanizedAutoput A8), is a motorway in Serbia. It begins in Ruma, at the junction with A3 motorway and runs south-westward to Šabac, where it will continue as an M3 expressway to Loznica. The construction started in December 2019 with the main contractor Azvirt [1]. It was opened on October 2023.

Route

The highway goes through Srem and it serves as a connection of Mačva district with Srem and A3 motorway. On the other side, Ruma intersection will serve as a connection to South Bačka District. This will be done by the means of M2 expressway Ruma-Novi sad (also known as Fruška Gora Corridor (Serbian: Фрушкогорски коридор, romanizedFruškogorski koridor)
