Annasaheb Patil Born 25 September 1933 Maharashtra in Patan Taluka Of Satara District. He was a Indian Politician. Former MLA of Indian National Congress. Early life he worked for the rights of mathadi kamagar of Mumbai. Through his efforts the, Maharashtra Mathadi, Hamal and other manual workers (REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND WELFARE) ACT, 1969 was came into exist. In 80's he started protesting for Maratha Aralkshan, and for that he Establish Akhil Bharatiye Maratha Mahasangh. On 22 March 1982, a march was held in Mumbai for Maratha Reservation and at same march Patil had threatened that if these demands were not met by government, he would end his life. At that time, Balasaheb Bhosale was the Chief Minister Of Maharashtra. The government did not agree to the demands put forth by Patil And in aftermath of this on 23 March 1982 Annasaheb Patil shot himself..[1] In 27/11/1998 upon his name Government of Maharashtra Established Annasaheb Patil Arthik Vikas Mahamandal Maryadit[2] with aim to facilitating the economically backwards, educated, unemployed youth in Maharashtra. Under this Various scheme are run by the Annasaheb Patil Arthik Vikas Mahamandal. For example Individual Interest Reimbursements Scheme[3]
