Ashish Deora is an Indian entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Aurum Ventures.[1]
Education
[edit]Ashish completed his schooling at the Scindia School in Gwalior and earned a bachelor's degree in commerce from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He pursued advanced studies in corporate restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions at Harvard Business School from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, he completed the Owner President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School from June 2017 to June 2022.[2]
Career
[edit]Ashish has founded companies in a variety of industries, such as mining, telecom, aviation, and renewable energy. In 1996, at the age of 21, he founded Aurum Ventures.[3] Aurum Ventures is the parent company of Aurum PropTech, which is working towards building integrated PropTech ecosystem, and Aurum Real Estate, focused on real estate development in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). He is also a board member of Shriram Properties, a position he took over in 2023.[4]
