Chirantana academy is an academy of Performing Arts touches the lives of thousands of Children, young people, shaping their dreams and aspirations through quality teaching. A registered charitable trust which helps in fund raising for various causes, keeps conducting events by the artists of National and International fame. A Gurukul of the contemporary period spreading the classical art forms. Chirantana is supported by dance exponents, creative professionals and renowned Gurus in the respective art forms. Our motto is to spread and perfect the classical, contemporary art forms and create a healthy attitude towards art and life as a whole. Chirantana started its journey in 2001, 'Chirantana' came into being with a passionate vision to make Davangere rich in Indian Performing Arts. Under the creative leadership of Deepa N Rao and Madhava Prasad Padaki. Chirantana started with 16 students and has now educated more than 16500+ students in the last 22+ years. Chirantana has organized many fundraising events for Hemophilia patients, Cancer patients, Blind schools, Orphanages, School for special children, Teacher training programs to the rural schools and help in the event of natural calamities. Chirantana students as a performing dance and music unit have performed in more than 300+ shows all over the state, Nation and overseas in last 22+ years. Gained Global recognition since 2008, Performed at several International conventions held at Dubai, Qatar, Sharjah, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangkok, London, Singapore, Thailand.... Chirantana Organized international cultural events with more than 100 artists at Dubai and London, UK, which included deaf and dumb artists.
