Biography

Onwuka Ugochukwu Richard popularly known as Funnybros is a Nigerian comedian who is becoming more and more popular thanks to the skits he makes and shares on social media. But the comedian does a lot more than just make funny skits and share them everywhere.[2][1]

Education

Onwuka is a Physical Science student at Abia State University. He is a 300-level undergraduate student at a southeastern university. Funnybros revealed in a recent interview that, despite having always been an actor from a young age, he began making skits in 2019 during his 100-level days at Abia State University.[3][2]

Career

Funnybros began his career as an entertainer at a young age, through the church, after joining the theatre and acting group at his parents' church. He stated that while he joined the group as an actor, he later discovered that he was a natural jester. During an interview with Vanguard, Onwuka revealed that he noticed how he could make people laugh effortlessly through his speech, gestures, and facial expressions.[4]

In 2019, he began his skit-making career while still pursuing his degree in Physical Science at Abia State University. He is well-known for slang such as "Ikotaram," "Onwe Otu Ihea Shi Eme, Onye Kwuru that thing, and others.[5][3]
