[edit]

The Gallery Center opened it's doors on April 1966 with JCPenney, Carson Pirie Scott, Wieboldt's, and Montgomery Ward. Wieboldt's closed in 1987 and the space became Famous-Barr in 1988. Montgomery Ward shuts down in 2001 and the space became Lord & Taylor in 2002. Famous-Barr would close in 2004 and the space became a Kohl's in 2006.
