Giovanni Montani (July 14th, 1966) is an italian theoretical physicist focusing on Primordial Cosmology, Gravitation and Plasma Physics. He is a Researcher at the ENEA Research Center of Frascati, Nuclear Department and Lecturer at the Physics Department of Sapienza University of Rome.[1].

He graduated in 1992 at Sapienza University and obtained the Ph.D. title in 1997 at the same institute under the supervision of Remo Ruffini and Vladimir Belinski [2], followed by an ICRA grant and a PostDoc fellowship sponsored by INFN.

He is Coordinator of the PLUS Collaboration at ENEA [3] and Head of the Research Group on Cosmology, Gravity and Magnetohydrodynamics at Sapienza University [4]

In 2012, he founded and assumed the role of president of the Association "Lo Spazio nel Tempo"[5] which aims to sustain research activity in Cosmology, Gravity and Fundamental Interactions.
