Graham Kartna is a Canadian electronic musician known for his work in styles such as: hypnagogic pop, glitch, and experimental. His music is associated with the aesthetic of webcore for its mix of an ambient atmosphere and sounds reminiscent of early 2000s media. He is most notable for his 2013 EP "An Obsession With Kit" and its track "Browser History", because of its use in the web series ENA by animator Joel Guerra.[1] He also releases vaporwave under the pseudonym Foodcourt97.
History
[edit]Graham started his career in music by producing YouTube Poops under the alias "Kurktop". His first official release was "Tinto5", released in 2011 under his alias Poopooface.[2] His first release under the name Graham Kartna was "One Year: A Collection Of Old Tunes" released in 2012. The next year he released "PHU➒➐~" under the name Foodcourt97.[3] Some other notable releases by him are "An Obsession With Kit" released in 2013, "Ideation Deluxe" in 2015, ".temp" in 2018, "TMP2" in 2020, and his most recent release: "For Your Safety And The Safety Of Others" in 2023.[4]
