Career

[edit]

Haniya's journey into music and acting was significantly influenced by the unique circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the lockdown, she found herself with an abundance of free time, which prompted her to explore her creative talents in music. Although she did not come from a musical background, Haniya began experimenting with music as a way to cope with the isolation and chaos of that period. She described music as a personal space that allowed her to express herself and feel connected during a time when social interactions were limited[3][4]

.Her breakthrough came with her viral cover of "Luka Chuppi," which she posted on social media in August 2020. This song quickly garnered attention, leading to thousands of views and ultimately opening doors for her in the music industry. Haniya's passion for singing was evident from a young age; she would often hum tunes and create melodies in her mind. The encouragement from her parents and the positive reception of her online performances further fueled her desire to pursue a career in music [5][6]

Haniya made her acting debut with the film Connect (2022), where she showcased her versatility as a performer. Following this, she appeared in AppleChedikal (2023) and O.Baby (2023), further establishing her presence in the Indian film industry.
