Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. - Comment: Promotional content includes “The summit brings together technology entrepreneurs, companies and startups” “It impacts innovations and presents the opinions of professionals from different countries” “This summit connects speakers, investors, and collaborators from more than 25 countries” “The third such event is planned to be held on October 10-11, 2024” “participants are provided to get acquainted with local and regional startup authors.” “The summit will include a startup competition with a $25,000 prize fund.” Theroadislong (talk) 15:05, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: You have just documented what this event is and its occurrences, not what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say is notable about this event, such as its importance/significance/influence. 331dot (talk) 14:34, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

The first "InMerge" event was organised on 13 December 2022. The third such event is planned to be held on October 10-11, 2024.
History
[edit]2022
[edit]The event under the name of "Baku Innovation Summit" was organised by PASHA Holding in cooperation with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency on December 13, 2022.[3]
Main speakers at the 2022 summit include Robin Sharma,[4] futurist Kian Gohar, technology speaker Philippe Dewost, former Boston Consulting Group, IBM, EY partner Peter Ulrich, Jeroen van der Veer,[5] the former CEO of Shell, and author Chris Skinner.[5]
In addition, the participants who achieved special success in the field of innovation received awards over eight nominations (discovery of the year, tech entrepreneur of the year, start-up of the year, skills booster of the year, tech media of the year, digitalisation of the year, startup ecosystem player of the year, ecosystem MVP of the year) within the framework of the "IDDA Awards" competition organised by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.[6]
2023
[edit]"InMerge Innovation Summit" was held at the Baku Convention Center from November 30 to December 1. This event, in its second edition, is organised by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on behalf of the Ministry of Economy, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and PASHA Holding with primary partnership from Trendyol. About 3,000 participants from 20 countries, more than 50 investors, and more than 150 startups participated in the summit.[7]
One of the speeches at the event was made by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Wozniak shared his thoughts on innovation and the history of the company. He made his speech with the moderation of international speaker Bill Williams:[8] He said these:
I met Steve Jobs five years before Apple was founded. He was a fun-loving young man. He admired people who changed lives. When he saw the computer I invented, he said there was a new business opportunity and came up with the idea of establishing a new company. This is how the Apple company was born. If he hadn't given me this idea, I would have remained an engineer until today.[9]
Other speeches were made by Tesla co-founder J. B. Straubel and Shazam founder Chris Barton.[10]
Besides this, J. B. Straubel, Chris Barton, Trendyol CEO Erdem İnan, PASHA Holding Ecosystem CEO Farid Mammadov, and Uzum Company's Operations Director Roman Lavrentev discussed the future of smart ecosystems and technology integration in the panel.
There was also a panel discussion on open banking and API standards. In that discussion, Arif Babayev, co-founder of "DNA Payments Group", Farid Osmanov, who was the executive director of the Central Bank at that time, Tal Sharon, director of partnerships of "Ubeya" company, Kristina Doros, vice-president of Visa for Central Asia and Azerbaijan, and Alastair Lukies, the CEO of Pollinate International company participated.[11]
At "InMerge", participants are provided to get acquainted with local and regional startup authors. A VR zone has also been organised.

[edit]The next summit is planned to be held on October 10-11. Professor Linda Hill from Harvard Business School, Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer and Vice-President of Amazon, and Ilya Strebulaev are scheduled to participate in the summit as speakers.[12] YouTube co-founder Steve Chen is also expected to attend this year's summit.[13]
The summit will include a startup competition with a $25,000 prize fund. Furthermore, startup founders will have the chance to attract investments from investors and secure up to $200,000 in additional funding from PASHA Holding.[14]
