Ivy Wolk (born August 24, 2004) is an American actress and comedian. She played Crystal in Sean Baker's film Anora (2024).

Career

[edit]

Raised in Los Angeles, Wolk amassed more than 200,000 followers making comedy videos on TikTok as a teenager. She deactivated her account when she was cast in her first professional role on the Freeform comedy series Everything's Gonna Be Okay in 2019. She later deleted a new TikTok account after getting flak for past offensive tweets of hers. While finishing high school, she played a small role in Judd Apatow's The Bubble (2022).[2][3]

Wolk dropped out of Emerson College after shooting the film Anora at the start of 2023. She had begun corresponding with its director, Sean Baker, in high school and was invited by him to audition. Anora premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival to positive reception; Wolk plays Crystal, a teenager whose rich friend (Mark Eidelstein) hires a sex worker (Mikey Madison) to be his girlfriend.[2] She appeared later that year on the FX series English Teacher.[3] She is set to appear in Mary Bronstein's If I Had Legs I'd Kick You and Eugene Kotlyarenko's The Code.[4]
