Lee Da-in (Korean: 이다인; born August 14, 2008) also known by the stage name Rora, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of the South Korean children's group U.sso Girl and a current member of the South Korean girl group BabyMonster, which debuted under YG Entertainment in November 2023.
Life and career
[edit]2008–2017: Pre-debut activities and acting career
[edit]Lee Da-in was born on August 14, 2008 in Gangneung, Gangwon, South Korea. Lee graduated from Hupyeong Middle School in January 2024 and currently goes to School of Performing Arts Seoul, the same school as MissA’s Suzy, IVE’s An Yu-jin and BTS’s Jungkook.[1]
She started as a model for Tara & Co. Her stage name was given by the CEO of YG Entertainment.
2017–2018: Debut with U.sso Girl
[edit]In July 2017, Lee was announced as a member of the children's girl group U.sso Girl with Hyein of NewJeans under the stage name U.Ha.[2][3] The group debuted on 7 November, 2017, with their first digital single, "Go Go Sing". Lee would leave the group the following year, sometime in 2018.[4][5]
