Mateo Chávez García (born 12 May 2004) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Liga MX club Guadalajara.

[edit]Chávez made his professional debut with Tapatío on 29 September 2022, coming on as a 60th minute substitute against Venados.[2]
First team
[edit]Chávez made his first team, and Liga MX debut on 13 January 2024, in a 1–1 draw against Santos Laguna.[3] On 7 February 2024, Chávez made his CONCACAF Champions Cup debut in a 3–1 win against Forge.[4]
