The Minecraft Wiki is an fan wiki dedicated to the Minecraft franchise that is edited and maintained by volunteers.
The site was founded on 17 July 2009 on Gamepedia and was moved onto Fandom in 2018 after Fandom purchased Curse LLC. In July 2023, users on the Minecraft Wiki would vote in favour of forking from Fandom. The site would be reached out to by several wiki-hosting sites and companies though the Minecraft Wiki would choose to start their own site with Weird Gloop.[1][2]
App
[edit]On January 26 2016, the Minecraft Wiki would get its own app on Google Play store and the Apple App Store though the app would eventually be removed from both the Google Play and App Stores.[3]
