Mohamad Jumaily is a Canadian entrepreneur and a member of the Winnipeg Islamic community. He is the founder and CEO of Mr. Calzone Canada Limited.[1] [2] He served as the President of the Syrian Assembly of Manitoba from 2019 to 2021[3] and is team leader for Islamic Relief Canada.[4] [5] Mohamad Jumaily is an immigrant to Canada.

[edit]Mr. Calzone was established in 2011 in Winnipeg. The restaurant specializes in calzones and has six locations in Winnipeg.[6] Mr. Calzone is also involved in franchising.[7] [1]
Community Involvement
[edit]As the former President of the Syrian Assembly of Manitoba and an ambassador for Islamic Relief Canada, Jumaily has been involved in Winnipeg's Muslim community.[3] He has also participated in initiatives providing relief and meals during Islamic festivals.[8]
Speaking & Fundraising
[edit]Mohamad Jumaily has been involved in fundraising and relief for, and publicly commented on issues related to the Yemeni Civil War[9] [10] and the 2023 earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.[5] [11] He has also discussed the perceived disparities between the reporting and coverage of the war in Ukraine and the war in Syria.[12]
