Submission declined on 23 October 2024 by SafariScribe (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of films). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Doesn't meet WP:NFILM. The newspaper archive showed nothing reasonable to identify the show before justifying the notability. However, if we have this show on database, e.t.c., there is likely an option to accept, and WP:BLAR to a good list. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 02:18, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

Musical Playhouse is a 1959–1960 TV Series that featured television stories as musicals or musical plays.[1]
Plot
[edit]The television series features original musicals and musical plays based of a book or a play.
Production
[edit]The 5 episodes produced for the series were ether based of a book or a play. The episodes were written by Charlie Chester, Maurice Harrison, Eric Maschwitz, Sidney Nelson, Ivor Novello, Armin Robinson, Arthur Schnitzler and Alfred Shaughnessy.
Episodes
[edit]Due to the BBC having no proper archiving policy until 1978 3 episodes of the series are now believed to be lost and only 2 of them have survived. The only things that have survived from the 3 missing episodes are the plots of them and a few posters from the 3 missing episodes.[2]
