- Comment: See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nikki Fritz. The draft still lacks reliable, independent, and secondary sources that discuss Fritz in some depth. It doesn't look like any of the sources in the draft meet those criteria. bonadea contributions talk 11:05, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
Nikki Fritz (April 7, 1963-Feb. 25, 2020), also known as Sage Gallegos,[1] was an American actress[2],,[3][4] web-mistress and dog lover.[5].[6][7][8][9]
Early Life
[edit]Ms. Fritz was born in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Homestead, Florida. Her mother held some important administrative role for the DEA or the FBI.[10] Reportedly, she rejected her given first name, emancipated herself at age 16, and left for Hollywood.[10]
Film Career
[edit]Circa 1983, Ms. Fritz began a 20 year career with the film "Spring Break." She took her name from a now closed strip club in California called "Fritz, That's it." Although she had mainstream appearances, Ms. Fritz also worked extensively as a body double and perhaps saw her greatest fame appearing in erotic thrillers and B-movie comedies. Notably, Ms. Fritz appeared as lead character Trina in the 2000 Cinemax series "Nightcap." Ms. Fritz' Trina was one of three partners who owned a bar and engaged in erotic adventures with patrons. Ms. Fritz balanced eroticism with drama beautifully. Notably, her character Trina displayed emotional depth-such as when she discovered an old flame having an affair with a fellow bar partner and roommate -or confronted another man who was carrying on a "two-timing" relationship with that same partner. Ms. Fritz once said, "With all the stipulations out there that you can't do nudity and be a successful actress, I want to prove all of that wrong. I can be naked, I can do erotic films, I can be sexy, and still be an intelligent woman who is taken seriously as an actress." But Ms. Fritz further embraced her sexy side and opened and maintained a website NikkiFritz.com for nearly 15 years.[11] Ms. Fritz' mainstream appearances included "Beverly Hills, 90210", "Go".[12] Tane McClure, who appeared with Ms. Fritz in "Go", was also a lead in "Nightcap", ironically enough, named "Nikki."
Other notable roles include "Bikini Drive-In", "Sinful Obsession", and "The Bare Wench Project" (including three sequels.) Nikki Fritz also appeared on the Howard Stern Show.[13]
Ms. Fritz would also embrace her B-Roles and appear at New Jersey's famous "Chillercon."[14]
Later Life
[edit]After Ms. Fritz left acting and modeling, she changed her name to Sage Gallegos and opened a dog grooming business, while also working as a dog trainer and rescuer.[10][1][15] As she would recall to a former film industry colleague, Ms. Gallegos apparently found true joy and calling in this endeavor.[1][10]
Death
[edit]Ms. Gallegos battled cancer for many years.[16] She eventually lost her battle on February 25, 2020.
