Biography
[edit]In their music, Pridian paint soundscapes interwoven with modern and industrial metal.[3]
Their debut album "The Rotten Unknown", released under the name ÆØNS in June 2021, was also nominated in the "Metal Album of the Year" category at the Estonian Music Awards.[4]
With their low-tuned riffs and industrial electronic sounds, Pridian can rock stages and move crowds. Although the addition of cinematic and electronic instrumentation is an important part of their sound, the band's main theme and inspiration comes from what they experience and feel around them.[5] In addition, Pridian draws its sound and messages from other creative works, a world in turmoil and the need for continuous self-development.[6]
Pridian has performed at Estonia's biggest metal festivals: Hard Rock Laager, Barbar Feast and Tallinn Music Week. The band has also shared the stage with bigger foreign artists such as Humanity's Last Breath and Atlas.[7] In the 18 months, the band has released five video singles and their debut EP called "Cybergnosis".
