The Anonymous is an American reality competition television series, produced by Studio Lambert, that first aired on USA Network in August 2024. The series bills itself as a game based around the concepts of social media and its anonymity, where you can be anyone and say anything on the Internet disguised behind a handle. It has been described as a cross between The Circle and The Traitors in format.
Format
[edit]The Anonymous is a strategic reality competition series that's played in two worlds: the real world where players interact face to face, but also a digital world, where players communicate behind a mask of anonymity, known as "Anonymous Mode". Here in individual private hideouts, each player is free to say whatever they want in order to advance their game. On this show, it begs the question, "What would you say and do if nobody was watching you?".
Each week, the players compete in a challenge to earn money towards their collective pot, which could total up to $100,000. During "Anonymous Mode", the players are able to vote for anyone to be up for elimination. After a quick break, the contestants return to "Anonymous Mode" where they make their best guess as to who each player is behind their handle. The contestant that is able to go undetected the best by the other contestants is deemed "The Anonymous" of that week. They then can choose to eliminate anyone who is up for elimination, who must reveal their handle identity before they depart.

- Notes
- ^ a b c Bismah, Victoria, and Wayne entered the game following Tyreena's elimination. This caused the game to be reset with new handles. Additionally, Bismah, Victoria, and Wayne earned immunity from the next elimination.
- ^ a b c d In the Day 3 challenge, the player who threw the most balls inside the structure would receive safety from elimination. Jack and Marcel tied for 1st place, however both were blocked from receiving safety. Nina received 2nd place, but was also blocked. Xavier received safety for throwing the most balls inside the structure without being blocked.
- ^ Bismah, Victoria, and Wayne were made team captains for the upcoming challenge, with the winning team members all eligible for safety. Bismah's team won and she granted Jack safety from elimination.
- ^ Dillian won the Face-Off Challenge and removed himself from the block. However, a twist forced him to put up a safe contestant in his place. Dillian chose Jack.
- ^ In the Day 7 challenge, the players competed in teams. One of the members of the team who completed their challenge in the fastest time would be granted safety from the elimination. Dillian & Marcel had the fastest time, and Marcel earned safety.
- ^ In the Day 8 Face-Off, there were 3 safeties up for grabs, but were not revealed to the players before the "Anonymous Vote". The Anonymous chose to eliminate Marcel, however he was revealed to be "Safe", and thus there was no elimination.
