The Scrimblo Scrumblos is an American alternative rock band formed in Red Hook, New York. The band is made up of: Clara Coonley (bass, vocals); Eddison Haley (drums, vocals); Thalia Rubin (keyboard, vocals); and Kieran Cook (guitar, vocals). Throughout most of their career they've worked with the producer Ben Senterfit and others to help create their signature style of psychedelic rap rock.

Shortly after it was formed, The Scrimblo Scrumblos recorded their 1st album, from February 2023 to June 2024 at the Community Music Space (a.k.a. Space Studios[1]) which is a local place for kids and adults to collaborate on music[2]. During this time, music videos for Lost in the Fog[3], And I See Her Face[4], and Younicorn Symphony[5], were published onto the Community Music Space YouTube channel[6] and later onto The Scrimblo Scrumblos' website.[7] The album was called Best of 2023-2024[8] and was distributed and released through Distrokid onto Spotify[9] and other streaming services on June 22nd, 2024[10] and burnt onto several CDs that were handed out to band members.[10] However, it was shortly removed from streaming services due to a copyright issue involving the rights for a cover song sampling Mitski's song Washing Machine Heart.[11] Later, after reconvening in the studio, The Scrimblo Scrumblos broke up in September of 2024.[12]

Members Over Time

[edit]

There have been many members of The Scrimblo Scrumblos, originally, only Clara Coonley, Eddison Haley, Kieran Cook, and Max Klähr. This is the same lineup that appears in the Lost in the Fog music video. Eventually, Max Klähr left and with his departure, was replaced by Thalia Rubins and Chloe Siegel. Although, Chloe wouldn't stick around long, she would make a brief cameo in the And I See Her Face Music Video[4]. After this, the band members remained the same throughout the rest of the band's short existence.
