Tiger vs Pathaan is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Aditya Chopra. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is the ninth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film stars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Aftab Shivdasani and Bipasha Basu.
In 2021, it was reported that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will unite for a standalone film by having a Karan Arjun reunion, which was confirmed by Salman Khan in December 2021. The film came into development with a working title of Tiger vs Pathaan.
Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Deepika Padukone will reprise their roles as Tiger, Pathaan, Zoya, and Rubai. The film is scheduled to begin production after the release of Tiger 3, and will follow the events of Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2 set on the YRF Spy Universe. Siddharth Anand will direct the film as announced on 6 April 2023, and is expected to release sometime in 2026 confirmed by producer Aditya Chopra on 16 September 2023. Principal photography will commence soon after announcement.
