Comment: If the only claim of notability is being the transgender child of Elon Musk that doesn't get along with him, then this should be merged into Elon_Musk#Relationships and children. Nobody (talk) 06:53, 18 September 2024 (UTC)

Early Life
[edit]Jenna was the oldest of two twins born to Elon and Justine Musk in 2004. She attended a "progressive" school called Crossroads in Santa Monica, California.[1]
Transition
[edit]Christiana Wyly, the wife of Musk's brother, was texted by Jenna in 2022: "Hey, I'm transgender, and my name is now Jenna. Don't tell my dad."[2]
That same year, at the age of 18, Jenna adopted her mother's surname, no "longer wishing to be related" to her father.[3]
Days after her 18th birthday, Jenna filed a petition to change her birth certificate. A Santa Monica judge issued her a new birth certificate that reflected her changed name and gender.[4]
Relation with her father
[edit]Musk has repeatedly refused to recognize his daughter's gender identity and name. In an interview with The Daily Wire, Musk repeatedly deadnamed her, saying she was "killed by the woke mind virus."[3] In that same interview, he also claimed that she was born "slightly gay and autistic."[5]
Jenna criticizes her father, saying he was "uncaring and narcissistic." She says that she hasn't spoken with him in over four years.[6]
