EcoFlow is a company that provides portable power and eco-friendly energy solutions.[1] Founded in 2017, the company develops products such as portable power stations, smart devices, and home energy systems.[2] They offer power solutions for home backup, outdoor activities and emergencies. EcoFlow is headquartered in the United States, Japan, and Germany.[3]
History
[edit]EcoFlow batteries are produced by EcoFlow Technology, which was established in 2017.[4] One of its co-founders is Lei Wang, a former engineer at Chinese drones company DJI.[5][6] Its other co-founders include Hannah Sieber, Fan Zheng, and Eli Harris.[7] The company has used crowdfunding platforms such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo successfully to raise funds.[6]
Products
[edit]EcoFlow portable power stations can go from zero to an 80% charge in less than an hour.[6][8] They provide power from 500 watts[9] to 3000 watts.[10]
Their main products include the River series of lightweight portable batteries designed to provide power for outdoors or in emergencies,[6][8] but also can be used indoors.[11][12][13]
Ecoflow also offers a wide range of innovative foldable solar panels, allowing you to transport your panel and use it both on the sand and in the mountains. These models are available in 60 Watts, 110 Watts, 220 Watts (with bifacial technology) and a 400 Watts model, allowing a Delta 2 to be recharged in 3 to 6 hours[14]
In 2023, Ecoflow is releasing 3 smart products that go beyond their core area of expertise: A portable cooler capable of generating ice cubes named "Ecoflow GLACIER",[15] a portable air conditioner named "Wave2"[16] that can cool a room of less than 10 square meters, and an autonomous lawn mower called "Blade".[17]
