Felon (French pronunciation: [fəlɔ̃]) is a commune in the Territoire de Belfort department in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in northeastern France.

Geography

Felon is situated on the southern slope of the Vosges, 15 km to the northeast of Belfort.

Climate

Felon has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). The average annual temperature in Felon is 10.3 °C (50.5 °F). The average annual rainfall is 1,056.1 mm (41.58 in) with December as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in July, at around 19.1 °C (66.4 °F), and lowest in January, at around 1.8 °C (35.2 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Felon was 38.0 °C (100.4 °F) on 7 August 2015; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −19.3 °C (−2.7 °F) on 20 December 2009.
