Summary

Description
English: Gugliemo's aria "Donne mie la fate a tanti" from Cosi fan tutte, act 2, no. 26. Piano reduction belongs to the public domain. David Liao, baritone (Wikimedia user: Magneticcarpet), Rachel Ward, piano (written permission to publish on Wikimedia and Wikipedia secured 2008 April 27). Recorded in private session, Taplin Auditorium, Fine Hall, Washington Rd., Princeton University, Princeton, NJ. Mr. Liao sang without electronic amplification. Ms. Ward accompanied on a piano opened/short stick. We recorded in private session. We positioned the digital recorder with supplied stereo microphone near the center of auditorium seating (DS-30, Olympus America, Center Valley, PA). We performed digital post-production before exporting to 0.4q Ogg (Goldwave v. 5.13, Goldwave, Inc., St. John's, NL, Canada). The authors thank Eva Zeisky, Laurel Lerner, and Curt Callan for organizing and supporting the annual physics department recital and providing access to Taplin Auditorium. Publication of this recording is not endorsed by official act of the University.
